Reiki Levels 1 & 2

Here, I'm going into depth with what exactly you'd learn and receive in the Reiki Level 1 & 2 courses. For an over-view of learning Reiki, please go to this page. Anyone can learn Reiki and it doesn't matter how intelligent or spiritually developed you are. You can learn Reiki whatever your educational level and religious beliefs may be.

Reiki Level 1

Reiki Level 1 sets you on a transformative journey, where you are empowered with tools for life to give Reiki to yourself and others. This improves all areas of your life, including your work or life purpose, and deepens your relationships with loved ones, including yourself.

During a Reiki Level 1 course, you:

• Learn about the history of Reiki, and what Reiki is.

• Practice traditional Reiki meditations.

• Receive four 'attunements' during the day. The attunements are what give you the ability to use Reiki for the benefit of yourself and others.

• Learn various hand positions to treat yourself and others.

• Learn how different energy points on the body can give you clues to the underlying issue.

• Learn about the Reiki precepts and how to apply them to your daily life. The precepts are a 'code of practice' used to support your spiritual journey. They sound simple, but are the backbone to mastering one's life.

• Be given a Reiki Manual covering the information discussed on the day, and detailing your Reiki lineage. The lineage details all the Reiki Masters before you, going back to Dr Usui, who is the founder of Reiki.

• Receive a Certificate in Reiki 1

• Have plenty of opportunity to practice healing, discuss and ask any questions.

Reiki Level 2

You can learn Reiki Level 2 at least 3 months after having completed Reiki level 1 (with myself or another approved practitioner). Here, you access the deeper teachings and learn to use the sacred symbols. This allows you to use Reiki in many different ways, such as to send Reiki at a distance and to access the subconscious :

• Receive an attunement so you can use the 3 sacred symbols

• Learn the Power symbol, used to focus and direct the Reiki healing. This has numerous uses including protection and cleansing your home.

• Learn the Harmony symbol. Uses include sending healing to the subconscious and changing limiting beliefs.

• Learn the Connection symbol. Uses include sending healing over distance (such as across the globe) and time (such as to heal your past), and even manifestation of your deepest desires!

• Be given a Reiki Manual covering the information discussed on the day, and detailing your Reiki lineage. The lineage details all the Reiki Masters before you, going back to Dr Usui, who was the founder of Reiki.

• Receive a Certificate in Reiki 2

• Have plenty of opportunity to practice healing, discuss and ask any questions.
